You are warmly invited to join Katherine Grigg and Adrienne LaPierre for a Wild Dharma gathering!
When: Sunday, July, 14th from 2pm - 4pm
Where: Brook's Bend Farm in Montague (exact location provided upon RSVP)
Wild Dharma is a co-creative experiment in building community around earth-based spiritual practices. The heart of our time together is a 45-minute solo contemplative wander in the woods. Families with kids are welcome! Optional kid-friendly activity provided.
We gather to renew and deepen our relationships with ourselves, each other, the land, and the more-than-human world. Together, we are remembering our belonging to the sacred web of life.
If you'd like to come, please RSVP by Friday 7/12 to Adrienne at sacredwildsangha@gmail.com for exact location and full details.
Feel free to email with questions. If you can't make it this time, we will be gathering monthly on second Sunday afternoons.
What to Expect:
Arrival - meet in the parking lot, walk together to the circle
Grounding - short guided meditation/somatic practice
Gratitude offering - honoring the beings, ancestors and spirits of the land
Inspiration - a poem or reading of relevance to the day's theme
Invitation - solo wandering and contemplation/meditation
Council - reflective sharing
Closing
Hopes and Intentions
We see these Wild Dharma gatherings as a way of coming together to listen deeply to the land and to one another as a practice of collective healing and transformation. We seek to bear witness to each other as we live into our aspiration to be in reciprocal relationship with the land and all of the beings she sustains. We are deeply inspired by the words of bell hooks, who said that "The practice of love is the most powerful antidote to the politics of domination."
