Somatic Therapy Workshop: Listening to Your Heart
Somatic therapy is a mind-body healing modality that has roots in mindfulness, body awareness, subtle energy healing and the expressive arts.
In this workshop, you will be invited to pause, focus inward and bring a gentle awareness to your heart space. You will be guided in simple movements and meditation intended to connect you with your heart. Then you will have the opportunity to explore the messages in your heart through drawing and journaling.
Appropriate for anyone seeking deeper connection to themselves.

Katherine Grigg, MPC, RSMT is a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist who is passionate about weaving mindfulness and compassion into everyday life. She sees clients in West Hartford and teaches classes and workshops in the greater Hartford area.

Bring a journal and drawing materials if you have them. Paper, crayons and colored pencils will also be provided for those who need them.
